The National Defence Academy is an iconic institution, a global brand of excellence in the sphere of military education. The National Defence Academy (NDA) is the Joint Services academy of the Indian Armed Forces, where cadets of the three services, the Army, the Navy and the Air Force train together before they go on to pre-commissioning training in their respective service academies. Over the years it has emerged as a unique military academy, attracting the best of youth from our nation and also from friendly foreign countries and transforming them into officers and gentlemen.
The NDA is located in Khadakwasla near Pune, Maharashtra. It is the first tri-service academy in the world.
NDA Exam held twice a year. Boys of any stream who have appeared in 11th exam, are in 12thclass or appeared in 12th exam are eligible. No cutoff % age in 11th or 12th. At the time of joining NDA the boys should be 12th pass in any stream and below19 years.
